Click-Activated Reusable Warmers

A supersaturated sodium acetate pouch is a pleasing bit of chemistry: flex the small metal disc inside and the liquid crystallises, releasing its heat. It runs shorter and hotter than an air-activated warmer, roughly half an hour to an hour, and it recharges by simmering in water.

That makes it the right choice for repeat use and the wrong one for an eight-hour shift. We are explicit about that because the two products get sold interchangeably and they are not.
